Package #09. Nature, Samba & Fun All Day Long in Brazil 
Rio de Janeiro is a big city, and it's hard to figure out where to start. If you have little time, joining a guided tour is a good idea.


Day 1
Sunday

Flight from Montreal. Arrival and welcome in the Guarulhos International Airport - transfer to your hotel in Copacabana - Rio de Janeiro. (5 Nights Stay in Copacabana).

Day 2
Monday

Breakfast. Departure for a morning city tour of Corcovado. More than a card-postcard, the Christ Redentor was elect for the inhabitants of the city as "the Wonder of the River". The choice was deserved; 38 meters high- and 710 meters of the Mount of the Corcovado - the Christ is the image of the faith and the affection of the Carioca people. The monument, completed over 70 years ago, was inaugurated by Getúlio Vargas and the cardinal dom Sebastião Helm on 12 of October of 1931, the day of Ours Mrs. Aparecida. Afternoon at leisure; beach or shopping. In the evening, dinner with the Samba Show.

Breakfast. In the morning departure towards Ipanema Beach.
Ipanema Beach is where the summer happens in Rio. Get ready to enjoy this beautiful beach, as it is truly world famous and spectacular, having inspired the song "Girl from Ipanema", that immortalized it. Ipanema is, without a doubt, a famous meeting point of Rio De Janeiro.

Day 4

Breakfast. Departure for the tour “Pao de Azucar”. The f irst ferry cable to be installed in Brazil and the third in the world, it is one of the most important icons of the Carioca tourism, becoming one of the main registered marks of the city of Rio De Janeiro

Thursday

Breakfast. Visit of the National Historical Museum. Set in a beautiful architectural structure, it was created in 1922 by the Government of Epitácio Person, this museum possesses inestimable values. The National Historical Museum occupies an area of 18,000m² and is installed in three distinct buildings: the House of the Train, of 1762, the Real Armory, of 1822, and the Annex, of 1835. Long ago, this place was used as a sea-side strategical point of defense for the city.

Friday

Breakfast. Departure in the morning towards the airport to Iguassu Falls. Iguassu Falls are considered the widest in the world, and in the Native Tupi-Guarani language, “guazu” means big, and “I” means to water. It includes a total of 275 falls, forming a gigantic half-circle 8,100 feet long, with millions of gallons of thundering water plunging to a depth of 250 feet below. Half-circular, the falls bring together both the Iguassu and Parana Rivers, as well as Brazil and Argentina.

Iguassu Falls. Breakfast. Full day tour of the Brazilian and Argentina Falls.

Breakfast. Return Transfer to the airport and return Flight to Montreal.
